A quick post...this is a card I made on Sunday for the SCS Featured Stampers challenge. I love how this turned out, but I need to create a more postal friendly card with this fabulous stamp set. The ribbon and the brad make mailing a bit challenging. Come back later this week or weekend to see my new design with this stamp set. Seems like many are using the topnote with this stamp so I may try something new...
I cased this card: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...p;ppuser=93708 from Dawn's gallery. Click for more info on the FS challenge. Have a great Wednesday!

Very nice card, simple yet elegant. As much as I love to throw on those big bows, must remember to make them postable,......thanks for the reminder! ;D Tracy
love this card-it caught my eye on scs as well. the image is great on the top-note die
I just bought these same brads on sale-how do you attach them?
did you just run your ribbon through and flatten the prongs?
Beautiful card and case - Marilyn!!! I like that you made a Christmas card - this SU Set is so pretty!!! Hugs ~S~
Mary- I place my grommet where I want it, hold it and the card together and then turn both face down on a hard surface. I push on the cardstock around the grommet until the prongs pop through the backside. A bone folder helps. To get my ribbon inside the grommet, I did not flatten the prongs; I turned the card front side & threaded ribbon through each side, easing back the grommet as needed. Last I flattened the prongs. It wasn't a quick process & maybe there is an easier way but I don't know one.
Oh Marilyn - this is just gorgeous. What lovely colors and your ribbon and grommet is such a lovely embellishment to accent this wonderful Christmas card.
What a gorgeous card and image! I haven't seen this image before. I love it. Great color and paper combo too!
Absolutely beautiful! Love the ribbon treatment!
