Stamp Club- SUO Washi Tape card
Tonight is our Stampin' Up card club. In addition to making the cards & projects that our demonstrator prepares for us, we bring 12 cards for a card swap each month. Since we make 12 cards (of the same design), I try to keep my design fairly simple. So here's the one I made for August. Hope you & my stamping friends like it!
Thanks for stopping! Have a great weekend!
Hugs, Marilyn

Gift Sets
Today I'm sharing two card sets I made for our mother-in-law & step mother-in-law for Mother's Day gifts. I hadn't posted these before today but I remembered to take pics before we gave the gifts away. I followed Chiaki Haverstick's tutorial for the "Bountiful Purse" on her Stamping Pro blog. Although, I did modify the design of some of the cards. She has a long list of free tutorials of fun papercrafts. So generous!
I used the Everyday Enchantment DSP from Stampin Up's 2012 Sale-a-bration. Add matching cardstock & ink in images from Fresh Vintage, Triple Treat flower, and other SU! stamps. Punches & accessories added but I tried to keep the cards somewhat flat so extra postage wouldn't be required. I used these magnetic closures instead of velcro which finishes the project so nicely. I truly love this DSP paper & think is was perfect for our wonderful mothers.
Have a great weekend, friends!
