I made this card for the Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge for today (CC211) but mostly for you to give you a preview of three of the new SU! products found in the new Occasions Mini Catalog; the new designer series paper (dsp) called "Walk in the Park" and the new oval scallop punch with the coordinating stamp set called "Oval All".
The Baja Breeze card base is 4.25 by 5.5 inches. The DSP is mounted on Kiwi Kiss and Pretty in Pink ; the dsp layer is 5-1/8 by 2-7/8 and graduating 1/8 inch each for the kiwi kiss and pretty in pink layers. Next the mat pack and piercing tool were used to add some dimension to this layer.
The "Fresh Cut" image is stamped in Kiwi Kiss and watercolor wonder crayons were used to highlight the flowers in Pretty in Pink and the edges and scrolls in Sage Shadow; then the aqua painter was used to soften and spread the watercolors. The image was mounted on Kiwi Kiss and Pretty in Pink; it's size is 2 15/16 by 2 3/4 and layers graduated 1/8 inch each. The image is smaller than the Fresh Cut stamp however the lower right image was maintained to coordinate with the silhouette in the DSP.
Last one of the four images in the new Oval All set was selected and stamped once in Kiwi Kiss and one in Pretty in Pink. The Kiwi Kiss was punched out using the new Oval Scallop Punch and the Pretty in Pink was punched out with the oval punch and then mounted on the scallop.
Here's the recipe.
